Gene Clyde Trotter, 59, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born June 2, 1947, to Harry Preston and Betty Jo (Whaley) Trotter.
Gene is survived by a daughter, Penny Annette (Trotter) Southball; two sisters, Grace Evelyn Morris and Betty Lee Pate; two brothers, Harry Ronald Trotter and Johnny McArthur Trotter; a cousin, David Lee Laney; a nephew, Danny Lee Stevens; Zeus, who he loved very much; and several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Gene's home at Baron Fork Creek, Cherokee County, Okla.
Arrangements directed by Reed-Culver Funeral Home, (918) 456-2551. Max Trotter, 68, of Sevierville, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Trotter, parents Herman and Audie Trotter, and brother Pete Trotter.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Don McGill; grandchild, Tavian McGill and friend Megan Klein; great grandchildren, Callie Tipton and Taten McGill; sister, Martha Raye Stinnett and husband D.L. Stinnett; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. W.W. Cope officiating.
