Pearl Webb McCabe, wife of Claude McCabe, died Monday, June 12, 1922, at the age of 36, in a hospital at Boise, Idaho. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Webb of Jones Cove. She is survived by her husband and one son, Glen McCabe, aged two and a half years, her mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Webb of Knoxville, three brothers, John and Stewart Webb of Knoxville and Decatur Webb of Seymour, three sisters, Miss Dixie Webb of Knoxville, Mrs. Melvin Parish, Cleveland, Tenn., and Mrs. Rena Ownby of Jones Cove. In her girlhood she joined the Baptist Church at New Salem and lead the life of a Christian lady until her death. The remains were shipped back to East Tennessee and interred in the Chilhowee Cemetery Sunday, June 18, services by Rev. R. E. Corum.
Miles B. McMahan III, died on May 30, 2004. He was a 1969 graduate of Sevier County High School and received his bachelor�s degree from the University of Tennessee. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sevierville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Trotter McMahan and his grandparents. Survivors include his Father; Aunts; Uncle; Cousins: and many dear and loyal friends. In honor of his request he was cremated. A memorial service was held on June 5, 2004 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville with Robert Ownby, Frank Kalinski and the Rev. Larry Trotter officiating. Interment in Shiloh Cemetery followed the service.
