Dottry George BREWER, Sr., 65, of Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia died February 15, 1987. He was a native of Sevier County, Tennessee and was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Barbara Alice Trotter Brewer; brothers, William Lee and Clyde Brewer; sister, Leafy Ann Brewer; son, Homer Lee Brewer; grandson, Michael Scott Brewer. Funeral services were held February 17, 1987 at Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Dalton, Georgia with interment in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

Melvin Wilson BRICKEY, Melvin Wilson Brickey, 84, of Knoxville died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. During WWII, Melvin served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Banks Brickey; daughters, Patricia Lane and Barbara Livesay; parents, Mel and Mamie McCarter Brickey; brother, Ralph Brickey; sister, Johnnie Hurst. Survivors include his daughter, Jane Ellen Jackson and husband Mike; grandchildren, Brickey and Michael Lane, Yvette Davis and husband Rod, Alan Livesay and wife Tracy; great-grandchildren, Amanda Livesay, Andrew and Sarah Davis; sister, Juanita Douglas; son-in-law, Bill Lane.
